Ok so I know the roses and the champagne strawberries are time-consuming and a little bit on the tricky side…. so if you have limited time or want to make some simpler Valentines cake pops for your beloved (or as a treat for yourself!), I suggest either trying the chocolate cake pops; or some simple Valentines designs below…
The basis for both of these designs is the Basic Cake Pop recipe….
For this, follow the basic cake pop recipe, up to after you’ve chilled your cake balls in the fridge. Then get a heart shaped cutter, slide the cake ball through it, return them to the fridge and then attach the stick and dip according the basic cake pop recipe in the candy coating color of your choice!
Heart Sprinkle Pops!
For this, follow the basic cake pop recipe, up to after you’ve attached your lollipop sticks. Then dip according the basic cake pop recipe in the candy coating color of your choice and just after it has stopped dripping but before it sets completely, shower your pop with a load of heart-shaped sprinkles. You can alternate colors for a cute display and mix and match with the hearts.
Hope you have a very happy valentines!
